Our Wines

HISTORY – PASSION – NATURE – CHARACTER

To produce premium quality wines, first step is to take care of the vine with passion and dedication, day by day, following the rhythms of nature.
In the cellar, our centuries-long experience transforms these precious grapes into wines that moves at every sip, revealing the history and the beauty of a fabulous estate in a marvelous territory.

SPARKLING

Tenuta di Angoris was a pioneer for sparkling winemaking in Friuli Region, becoming a role model for Friulians sparkling wines. It is one of the very few wineries in the region equipped with its own sparkling winemaking plant.

VILLA LOCATELLI LINE

Around the historical mansion, 55 hectares of vineyards are cultivated on soils with little limestone and rich of noble clay mixed with red gravels brought by the Isonzo River, that flows a few kilometers further south. Over the centuries, the river shaped this little territory making it one of the “hottest” wine production areas of Friuli Region.

Villa Locatelli is a dynamic line, suitable for every occasion, expressing the freshness and liveliness of the Friuli Isonzo DOC area.

ANGORIS LINE

The grapes for the Angoris wines are harvested by hand in our vineyards located in the hills: the cru Stabili della Rocca in the D.O.C. Friuli Colli Orientali and the cru Ronco Antico in the D.O.C. Collio.

On these hills are born typically bold white wines, pleasant, mineral and with intense fragrances, and red wines with a more spicy note, with earthy taste and an enchanting complexity.

RISERVA GIULIO LOCATELLI

We dedicated our 4 finest wines to Giulio Locatelli, who bought the estate in 1968, 320 years after Locatello’s ownership, definitively weaving together the history of Tenuta di Angoris with the Locatelli name.

ALBERTINA

Dedicate to Grandmother Albertina: the elegance and the determination handed down to the whole family are found in this Pinot Nero, historical variety grown since forever at Angoris.

PICOLIT

The crown on the coat of arms of Angoris!

A magnificent autochthonous passito wine, with a very intense yellow color, complex range of flavours from wildflowers to almond, fruity notes of peach, chestnut, and a well-bodied and elegant taste.
