GRAPPOLO SOLIDALE PROJECT

Was created to support the Santa Maria dei Colli Pedagogical Medical Center in Fraelacco, a Center which since 1964 has welcomed, especially on a semi-residential basis, children, young people and adults with different levels of disabilities.

The activities are carried out thanks to 42 employees, a dozen volunteers and 4 heroic nuns who offer help, assistance and training projects to the 69 guests whose ages range from 6 to 60 years.

THE FIRST RESULTS

In the first year, thanks to wine sales and other fundraising initiatives at sports events, cultural events, concerts, and conferences, the Association renovated the Center’s playground, making it accessible to children with various disabilities, as well as refurbishing the multifunctional hall.

With nearly €80,000 in private contributions, great enthusiasm, and the goodwill of many, a dream became a reality.
